Together with KU Leuven, TML organised a five-day training course in social cost-benefit analysis for the FPS Mobility and Transport to support them in critically assessing railway investment projects. TML prepared a tailor-made programme combining theoretical knowledge and practical exercises.
Together with KU Leuven, TML taught a theoretical and practical training course in social cost-benefit analysis (SCBA) to staff members of the FPS Mobility and Transport. The aim of the training was to enable them to critically assess railway investment projects. With the added insight from the training, they now carry out their work more efficiently.
Social cost-benefit analyses juxtapose economic, environmental, and social costs and benefits. In the case of transport infrastructure projects, they therefore analyse, among other things, effects on transport prices, congestion, emissions, accidents, distribution of wealth ...
The training comprised five days and covered
TML drew up the training programme in consultation with the client to best meet their requirements.
The FPS Mobility and Transport asked TML and KU Leuven to organise the training because of their extensive practical experience and academic knowledge in social cost-benefit analyses.
