Cost-benefit analysis

Transport projects always come about by weighing up a variety of pros and cons. These analyses usually focus on one or more partial aspects. However, our broad organisation enables us to include all relevant effects in a so-called cost-benefit analysis (CBA). An important aspect in this is the consideration of external effects through monetisation. This involves not only the directly felt financial burden, but also social external costs such as traffic jams, air pollution, accidents, etc.

Besides CBAs, other analysis techniques can also be applied, such as multi-criteria analyses or safety, liveability, and accessibility analyses.
