Taxes on road traffic in Flanders must rise sharply, to an average of three times the current level. Only then will the negative effects caused by road users for society as a whole reach an acceptable level. This is the conclusion of a study conducted by Transport & Mobility Leuven on behalf of the Vlaamse Milieumaatschappij.
