TML developed a vehicle-dependent light control system for the intersections Ninovesteenweg - Industrielaan - Nachtegaalstraat in Aalst, taking into account local real estate developments.
In support of a mobility study, TML produced a vehicle-dependent light regime for the sub-junctions Ninovesteenweg - Industrielaan - Nachtegaalstraat in Aalst, considering commercial real estate developments in the area. We initially prepared two rigid preliminary designs, one of which we elaborated into a vehicle-dependent light control system and simulated in Vissim. In addition, TML prepared a report evaluating traffic flow, including results for saturation levels, queue lengths, and loss times per intersection movement. An analysis of the causes of bottlenecks and flow problems was also included in the report.
