From 2024 to 2028
The Brussels Capital Region has an ambitious vision for the future: a city that is not only liveable but also prepared for the challenges of climate change and fully accessible to all. Public space plays a key role in this transformation. It should no longer serve only as a traffic zone, but also provide space for housing, leisure, and water management. The ultimate goal? Revitalising neighbourhoods by creating pleasant places focused on people.
One of the main frameworks for this mission is the Good Move plan, which aims to make neighbourhoods quieter and improve the quality of life for all Brussels residents. Then there are the Nature Plan, the Water Plan, the Noise Plan, ... which also set clear objectives for an increasingly resilient city.
Together with Traject and a. practice, TML was appointed by the Brussels Capital Region to carry out mobility studies over the next four years.
