The Belgian Mobility Dashboard (BMD) is a data-based platform that monitors mobility issues in Belgium and provides unique indicators to develop and evaluate mobility policies. TML supported Febiac in the development of the BMD by validating and adapting indicators for scientific accuracy so that they are representative of Belgian mobility.
The Belgian Mobility Dashboard (BMD) is a neutral, data-based platform that monitors key aspects of land-based mobility in Belgium. It includes a unique set of indicators that public, private, and academic mobility stakeholders can use. This allows them to assess and develop mobility solutions, policies, and measures.
Transport & Mobility Leuven supported Febiac in developing the BMD. We used our own expertise to further elaborate and validate the modelled indicators. We always considered the context in which these indicators were situated and checked whether their definition and/or construction needed to be adjusted. In addition, we guaranteed validation with regard to its scientific accuracy, so that the BMD is representative of Belgian mobility.
