As part of the Kyoto agreements on reducing greenhouse gases, Belgium has to issue specific measures to reduce greenhouse gases. These include measures such as the promotion of public transport (train), cycling, and clean vehicles, the reduction of company car benefits, the modal shift of goods transport, specific measures within the administration, and the increasing use of biofuels.
TML evaluated the measures and developed a model for this purpose that allows the Federal Public Service to (re)evaluate the impact of the measures by adjusting a number of parameters.
