PredicTime

Both the actual increase in the number of traffic jams and the increasing unpredictability of their length and duration have heightened the importance of information on current and expected traffic conditions. Our research fitted into a larger project carried out by TNO together with Vialis. In the PredicTime project, an individual journey time predictor was developed based on the current or near state of the art. In the first phase, a conceptual framework was developed to enable the combination of different data sources and prediction techniques.
