Researcher
Kristof Carlier is a civil engineer specialising in human mobility and environmental impact assessments. He is primarily active in the fields of traffic simulation, transport models, and road work nuisance reduction projects. He has contributed to the development and application of a number of projects involving microsimulation models, the macroscopic model OmniTRANS, regional traffic models, and various freight models. He organises 'Minder Hinder' measures (to limit nuisance during road works) for large infrastructure projects and has extensive experience in calculating transport-related emissions.
