ClairCity
ClairCity aimed to significantly improve air quality and CO2 policies in European cities by finding new ways to engage the public, stakeholders, and policymakers. TML was involved in the development of an emissions and air quality toolkit, which was used to promote dialogue six European pilot cities.
ClairCity aimed to greatly improve policies related to air quality and CO2 in European cities by involving the public, stakeholders, and policymakers in new ways. The latest social science frameworks were applied to the source attribution of air pollution (emissions and concentrations), CO₂ emissions, and health impacts, grouping them not only by technology, but also by population behaviour and their daily activities. By putting people at the centre of both problems and solutions, we encouraged the public engagement needed to address our air pollution problems, through the development of a range of citizen-led future scenarios and policy packages.
TML was involved in the development of the emissions and air quality toolkit, which was used to facilitate dialogue with various stakeholders in six European pilot cities. The toolkit itself targeted all EU cities with more than 50,000 citizens.
