Cost calculation of the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions by the transport sector

TML calculated the costs and potential of nine transport measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, including pricing measures, infrastructure adjustments, and speed limits. This was done through a literature review and based on TML's previous projects, with the aim of contributing to the Flemish Energy and Climate Plan 2021-2030.
This study made an initial calculation of the costs and the potential of nine transport-related measures to reduce GHG emissions. These nine measures include both price measures and other measures, such as infrastructure modifications or speed restrictions. The estimation was done using a literature review and on the basis of expertise gained by TML in previous projects.
The results of this study contribute to underpinning the Flemish Energy and Climate Plan 2021-2030. The report is not public.
