Impact EU ITS Directive

The overall objective of this study consisted of a health check of some estimates made by ITS Belgium on the payback value of certain ITS investments. The idea behind this is that ITS Belgium could help create €200 million in added value by 2020. A central question in this preliminary estimate is whether a €400 million investment in the ITS sector can provide more than enough payback value. This has the effect of increasing public authorities' awareness of such investments. The starting point of this study was some quick calculations and analyses of ITS Belgium.
