TML Talk #16 The unused potential of ANPR cameras

On Thursday 12 October '23, we invite you to another TML Talk, the 16th edition by now.
This time, ANPR cameras will take centre stage.
The topic will be introduced by colleague Sven Maerivoet, who will explain the concept behind ANPR cameras and how they are currently used for access or route control by cities and municipalities. He will also explain the technological features and unused possibilities in terms of traffic counts, origin-destination, and other traffic inventory purposes.
Subsequently, commissioner Gerry Peeters will give his view on the technology, how it is currently used and what opportunities there are in the field of traffic safety policy.
Colleague Wouter Florizoone will introduce the context and speakers and moderate the Q&A session.
